Keith Wilson has a wide civil practice advising and appearing in matters ranging from personal injuries to income tax appeals to family law.
Keith commenced practice as a barrister in Brisbane in November 1985 after having been admitted as a solicitor in January 1984. Keith took silk in 2002.
Between 2006 and 2010 Keith served as a Federal Magistrate sitting at Brisbane.
Keith is a nationally accredited mediator and has, in more recent years, developed a mediation practice dealing with a variety of disputes.
Keith has also developed expertise in commissions of inquiry, having acted as one of the counsel assisting the Commission of Inquiry into the Criminal Justice Commission (1996/7), as senior counsel assisting the Royal Commission into the Home Insulation Program (2013/14), and as counsel for interested parties in the Queensland Racing Commission of Inquiry (2013/14) and the Grantham Floods Commission of Inquiry (2015).
Keith has appeared in each State and Territory of Australia, other than South Australia. He has also appeared in Norfolk Island and the Solomon Islands.
