In Caffrey v AAI Limited [2019] QSC 7 Flanagan J found that a driver who suffered fatal injuries as a result of his own negligence owed a duty of care to a police officer who attended the accident scene after the accident had occurred, with respect to the risk of him developing a psychiatric injury.
