Jennifer practises in a broad range of civil areas and has a particular interest in personal injuries, health law, medical and professional negligence, planning and environment and administrative law.
Prior to commencing practice as a barrister in Brisbane, Jennifer was an energy and resources lawyer at Minter Ellison where she assisted in advising government entities, developers, as well as mining and infrastructure proponents mainly in relation to planning and environment issues. Jennifer was also involved in major mine divestment projects.
While at Minter Ellison Jennifer undertook a secondment at the Queensland Resources Council where she worked on overlapping tenure and waste management policy. In this role Jennifer also gained practical insight into key issues arising within the resources industry, often in the context of litigation.
Jennifer was previously Associate to his Honour Judge Rackemann of the District Court of Queensland.
