Lachlan was called to the Bar in October 2022.
He practises predominantly in commercial litigation and insolvency, with a particular focus on corporations and shareholder disputes. However, since joining the bar, he has also acted in a range of civil matters, including from personal injuries, professional misconduct, defamation and criminal asset confiscation.
Prior to being called, Lachlan practised for 4 years as a solicitor, acting in various commercial disputes, covering general contract, corporate and personal insolvency, partnership, corporations (including shareholder and derivative proceedings), professional negligence and civil forfeiture of criminal assets.
A latecomer to the law, prior to entering practice Lachlan enjoyed a varied career of more than ten years, with particular focus on commercial and data analysis, procurement and management.
Outside of practice, Lachlan is a hobbyist woodworker and grappling enthusiast, with ten years under his belt in competitive Brazilian jiu jitsu and freestyle wrestling.
