Ray has been practicing since 2005 and was called to the Bar in 2020.
Previously, Ray had an extensive career as a solicitor specialising in Personal Injuries. Ray has particular interests in Workers Compensation, CTP Claims and Abuse Law.
Ray is also a qualified and experienced Court Appointed Costs Assessor, having been registered with the Supreme Court of Queensland since December 2012.
Ray holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting and Finance (Honours) from Griffith University.
Ray’s experience includes:
Acting for plaintiffs in personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents/CTP, public liability, workers’ compensation claims and institutional abuse;
Providing legal and forensic costing expertise and services to the legal, accounting, and insolvency industries;
Acting for applicants in the field of representative proceedings (class actions) and product liability litigation including in relation to transvaginal mesh representative proceedings litigated in the Federal Court of Australia.
