Sally has practised at the private bar since 1996, with a broad commercial practice and particular expertise in construction, infrastructure, mining and resources.
She has acted in matters involving contract formation/interpretation, variations, contractual claims, general/contractual damages, defects, prolongation/delay, liquidated damages, termination, professional negligence (architects and engineers), security of payments and judicial review.
Sally also practices in the area of succession and estates.
She has appeared in a wide range of jurisdictions and dispute resolution processes including courts, tribunals, arbitrations, expert determinations and mediations.
Since 2012, Sally has regularly been named in the junior counsel category of the Doyle’s Construction and Infrastructure Queensland Barristers’ List.
Sally also presents seminars relating to contract, building/construction, commercial and dispute resolution topics.
