List member Susan McNeil successfully represented client resisting an Application for proceedings against Shine Lawyers to be transferred from Rockhampton to Brisbane, pursuant to UCPR rule 39 (change of venue by court order). The Court found that the Applicant had not demonstrated that the proceeding could be more conveniently dealt with in Brisbane, rather than Rockhampton and dismissed the Application.
